Tehy said it is their policy

It is our policy to escalate the Confirmation to our Customer

They will refund you. Dont panic just go speak to there customer services.

When you order a server the billing goes through... you did order!!! You cannot expect there system to pull off the payment that quickly.. but im sure they will be more than happy to arrange the refund for you , as soon as you get off here and go speak to the people that need to know.

Errr... I don't really get it.

You signed up, so you agreed to pay the first month, right ?
Once you click the confirmation button, there is no way back.

Knowing RackShack, they will probably refund you, but I honestly don't see a reason for that...

Actually i got a refund of $400 dollars from Rackshack. I've ordered and they never gave me the server. The process of refunding was hassle free as well. Props to Rackshack.

    With all due respect ....

You did sign up for the server, entered your account information, entered your credit card details, agree to the total charge, and authorized the purchase.

You entered into an agreement for service. You agreed to pay. Then you decided to cancel and even , in your own words, sent an email "I emailed RS my cancellation email ".

While you would not be liable for additional months of service, you agreed to pay for the setup fee and the first.

Mario may decide to have some compassion, however, it would not be required and certainly should not be expected.

Your actions kept that server from going into the hands of another customer at a time when there are hundreds of displaced customers needing a server NOW. That is also not to mention the cost and time we have to restore/reconfigure/resell that server.

you should be on the phone asking them... not using CAPS at us.

Stop flaming them, they have done nothing wrong yet. You ordered a server.. they billed you... now sort it out

Exactly what part of "I Agree" did you not understand?

We use the confirmation email/call as a process ONLY to identify credit card fraud which you readily admit is not the case.

You admitted it was your order and your card.

By thier TOS, you needed to fax or mail the cancellation. And then it needs to be 30 days in advance. If it was me, I wouldn't refund you even if you had logged in even 1 time after you came here and posted this.

    good points,

So why you still billed me without confirmation letter as you said it is for fraud proteciton...

Should you not SUSPECT that order could be a fraud and stop it without confirmation....

you could have billed a order that could be a fraud if I did not tell it .This is one month old case already.

do you have fraud protection issues on your end?

Technically Rackshack has no obligation to refund you - you electronically signed the contract by accepting the TOS, and thus you accepted the charges to your credit card and all other legalities that go with the TOS.

I think the people at WHT are agreeing with Rackshack/HeadSurfer here, including myself. You ordered the server, etc... then wanted to cancel it. Rackshack has a strict no refunds policy (that's why I've got to restrict myself of purchasing the P4 2.0GHz servers since I don't need one right now, lol). Bringing matters such as these to the public forums is just a disgrace to yourself, you're definitely not damaging Rackshack's image since we all agree with them.

The order was completed when you ordered the server. Don't confuse post-order fraud checks with ordering. There's really nothing we can help you with. You ordered, you were billed. If you want a refund, you'll have to contact RS and sort it out.
