Whats some good irc server software? with basics....and paid is ok but pref. free
any that run on linux or windows (one or the other)

However, if you have to ask, and it looks like you do, you shouldn't be running one. Also make sure that your host allows IRC servers; they are magnets for (D)DoS attacks.

lmao no i know alot about servers i used bahmanut irc before it was ok but...wasnt the greatest..thanks for all your help guys any more sugestions would be great but ill try unreal...yes my host allows them...even if i get dos attacked..it wont do much damage ill get some good firewalls etc

other than obliterate thier bandwidth, and they would most likely drop you and your account after it happened.

well....when i open unreal nothing happens and i check prosses and nothing shows to be running...i configed aready
