Does any body know what is the shell command to change the owner ( chown ) for all files for a domain in one shot.
Is troublesome to chown everyfiles one at a time.
chown -R user *
chown -R user.group *
This will set the username to user (and group to group) for all files in that directory and below. You will need to be sure you are in the correct directory. Do not use the above command if you are not in the correct directory.
just to add...
make sure that you have restored the permissions any domain/control-panel files under the home directory..like in some control-panels, the mail directory group should be "mail" and not $user.
