    Forum Attractiving Advertisers

Lately, there's been advertisers posting and promoting their businesses on my non-profit organization web community. Instead of telling them off, I thought why not pick a sponsor or two?

The thing is, how much should I charge the advertiser to have a small banner placed on the category header like SitePoint has or sticky-post like WHT has? So far, I'm getting over 2 million hits for this month, and it keeps increasing every month.

This is new to me, so please bear with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Is that 2 million unique hits or just plain old hits? (It is still good either way, just better with 2 million unique hits .)

Smidwap: It's 2 million "old" hits. I'm not sure how many unique ones, I'd have to check.

NetworksData: Small sponsors for a non-profit organization is not a good idea? Why's that? Please elaborate.

If you use that money to cover your running cost that's fine. A non-profit org is always non-profit, right? If not, why we call it non-profit org.

Try a flat monthly fee ... as long as it covers your costs and generate some additional money (which you can save for future needs) .... you never know if you need a software upgrade or server upgrade
