Does DEDICATED IP Cause Security Alerts?

If someone knows the dedicated ip for a site, does it make that site easier to hack?

If it does, can someone explain what to do?

No, it does not make a site easier to 'hack'. If a server is insecure, your site is just as much at risk if it uses name based hosting as it would be if you had an IP address.

I don't think so. A dedicated IP just allows for a domain (site) to also be located with an IP via the browser.

There might be a security issue, but if there is, it is very small and probably you don't have to worry about it.
