What kind of car do you have?

After readign the gas prices page, I wonder what peopel drive to get by where they pay over $1 CAD per litre. So, what do you drive (and engine and gas milage if you know)

    We have

    2001 Nissan MaximaSE 3.0 v6 25mpg 70L tank
    1993 Cadillac STS 4.6 v8 25mpg 76L tank

And the poll - where'd you buy it from?

Currently driving 2000 Olds Intrigue GLS, approx 28MPG. Waiting patiently for next summer when the Cadillac CTSi comes out, if it happens.

Oh yeah, also have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. Not sure on the MPG, but it isn't bad for a little truck.

I've got a 5.0l V8 Mustang Cobra (like 10mpg because of no smog and body grounded injectors) and a 2.8l V6 (gas mileage too depressing to count)Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera.

Really lousy...lol...but it's meant for fun not economy. It gets about 10-12mpg. 20 on the highway but I live in the city, so that doesn't come into play much.

    <edit> it's a 302, not a 305...that's a chevy engine! </edit>

A 2000 Dodge Dakota. Get's like 13 City, 17 Highway. I don't know... I don't really care because I don't drive around too much, I'd rather scam rides off of my friends.

Holden are now owned by General Motors (GM), so it looks like you'll have to click USA

How'd you fit a 5.0 in a Probe? How'd you handle the front wheel drive?

The probe GT comes with a Mazda manufactured 2.5L/153ci DOHC V6 generally. I can't see a 302 even fitting in there!

stripped the transmission...everything out...i had to make my own rear axel (actually had a shop do it for me)...it sits a bit higher in the back than the front...but with the gfx kit (which i had modded) it looks fine...the original 2.5l v6 (mazda your right, which is owned by ford) had over 250k miles on it...i wasn't really looking to mod it...so basicly i took a front wheel drive car and turned it into a rear wheel drive ;-)...it was originally a automatic modified it and its now a standard (ripped the consul out of a standard)...runs good...cept it will probly never be street legal

lol...that would be..my jetta is gunna have a 444 in it (good engine i might add), but i have to sell my probe first before i can start the jetta (mom's wishes)...i'm gunna try to keep the jetta legal (big mistake on the probe i modified the exhaust system, fuel injection, i bord it out (which isn't illegal), and in the state of arizona having nos on your car is illegal)...

My car is 100% American muscle...oh who am I kidding? '93 Saturn SL here Saturn was made to copy the Jap imports, and they actually did a pretty good job of it. In other words, it's cheap, reliable, fuel efficient and slow It's actually kinda fun to drive though...no auto tranny or power steering crap. I'll probably keep driving it until I can afford something real nice. Maybe a yellow C5 vert...some day (Yellow makes your car faster, just ask a local ricer )

Thinking about getting a new Ford Ranger Edge. Really like the style of the pickup. Haven't check the mpg on those but thinking maybe around 28.

I own a '94 Saturn SL3 fully loaded - with those cool automatic seat belts.

haven't worked out my mileage but I know I can go 500km on a tank of gas through the city. Gas tank is approximately 27 Liters.

On highway driving I can get about 600km per tank.

I call it my Tonka Toy - It's made of plastic It'll never rust! The body can outlast any Japanese Engine.
