Hello, I have a raq 2 sitting around and I was wondering if is was possible to change the port that it serves the web from 80 to say 6000? My cable provider blocks port 80, but I was going to set this raq up for my son to use for some very small personal sites. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Yes just update the httpd.conf file (backup first just as everybody should), your Apache can run on the port you want, 80 and 443 are normally defaults for Web and SSL, but then you can modify the port the Apache listens on and your site will be reachable at say www.domainname:6000
