Yipes has removed ALL OF LEVEL3 AND REPLACED WITH BNPLANET, CHECK IT OUT!

yea well bbn = Genuity which is yipes other backbone I thought and it only replaces it when you use att in ny i think heh cuz I get level3 still in my trace but its fine cuz it doesnt jump off to att

BBN has always been connected to Yipes.... somebody must have edited some routes.

Yeah pings are above 140 for me once again. This reliability is absolutely horrendous, there has to be something webreseller can do.

Depending where your coming from or to, is how the path the data is going to take is decided.

Agreed though - I don't believe any provider has direct control over routing/peering problems which are 15 hops upstream from them.

... Right, but unfortunately a cable modem internet user isn't going to call up AT&Ts support line and order them to fix a huge internet peering point.. This is why we need their direct or slightly indirect providers to get working on this.. that way things get done. I can't imagine how much money they are loosing on all of this.

Good from UK :-]

Just had a server installed at webreseller.net and I have a fantastic connection.

Pings around 110ms on ISDN from here in the UK :-o

I have another server with ECUI which is 'premium' bandwidth and it averages around 170ms.

I think I'm in love . . . .
