    Sub-domains

    Hey All,

I am running a Box with plesk, and my customer wants sub-domains but i am not sure how to setup this! Can anyone off some advise or maybe a site that would help out??

Dixiesys.com will do it, but you have to setup a ticket with support to have them activate it. Seems plesk does something funny with subdomains, and it's not without bugs, oddly enough.

Might be fixed with now, I think the server is running Plesk v2.5 with the subdomain patch(which I think they had to pay for, oddly enough).

you create a subdomain like you would any other domain, just instead of typing in the domain type in xxx.somedomain.com

It also counts as a domain in plesk, incase you are on a limited license

Yes, exactly. Plesk treats subdomains just like domains.
