Internet Society will manage .ORG domains.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Board of Directors voted 11 to 1 (with three abstentions) today to select the proposal submitted by the Internet Society (ISOC) for a new registry operator of the .org top-level domain, to replace VeriSign.

    This is a good thing.

Affilias will run the back end - which is also a good thing. Their actual registry service has been very solid - even if you disagree with their LandRush and Sunrise practices.

Yes, the landrush and sunrise registration really not a good results. I'm disappointed with the process. Give another chance.
