What is your career background before hosting ?

I saw an earlier poll about education, and got curious about the backgrounds of people (career-wise) pre-hosting.

I've worked a few "day jobs" and became a AWS certified welder (60/70) working at Marines building and designing sailboats. I've also worked for numerous ISPs doing networking, and for a few local garages, tricking out imports for street races. I still love to race. It's what I do when my girlfriend pisses me off because she thinks I love my car more than her; and when she gets on my nerves: I start to believe that. It's a 1992 Mazda Miata MX5-R putting out just under 240 hp and 200 ft/lbs at 13 psi (approx.) with a Garrett T28 turbo, moss oil cooler and filter relocation kit, AEM adjustable cam pulleys, Spal Stage 1 high flow fan, ClutchMaster clutch, 4.20 Torsen diff. with a custom-built ECU by yours truly which includes some killer boost control, knock sensors and temp. sensors. I just recently put Tokico Illumina shocks and an E-production carbon fiber racing body with BSP low profile lights and a Hard Dog HC rollbar with the entire back end of the car off a 1990 Mazda RX7 some guy totaled and sold me for $800.00. -- As you can tell, I love my car.
