    Running a small webserver...

Hello, I currently running just a small server from my local cable connection to test scripts and other items that I make. Currently I just run PHP/MySQL and Apache as the webserver.
Anyways I was wondering what programs or steps I could take to add a little extra security. Something that would moniter traffic and gather data to see who visits and other various programs to that nature. Right now I'm running pretty much default setup not alot has been changed.
    Any help appreciated.

Keep up to date with the latest packages, and run a sandbox user and/or chrooted directory when possible. You should be OK even if someone manages to gain access.
