    IP block assignment

    Hello,

Does any one know where to find the IP address block assigned to countries?

    Example:
    Country "Y" = 240.xxx.xxx.xxx, 67.xxx.xxx.xxx, etc...

    Thanks in Advance!

IP blocks aren't assigned to countries. They are assigned to regions, which there are 4, I believe.

Besides, you can't exactly trust that data. Because, companies like AOL have ARIN assigned IP blocks, and they use them in Europe.

    Not clear

I want the IP block assignments for USA and India.

BTW, I am sure there are different IP blocks for countries, because the stats counters and geo targeting banners can be targeted to specific countries.

    Thanks in Advance!

Geographical tracking is done largely, based on domain name.

It's pretty clear, but I don't think you will find that specific information anywhere.

I bought a block of 210.* IP addresses (/24 to be exact), which isn't being hosted in the region of registration. With IPv4 quickly running out of free space, the address assignment is almost null and void in today's Internet. What you're asking for is almost impossible to provide. If you're looking to allow/deny access to your machine or network by country, you're looking at some serious work.
