I would like to compile Apache from source, but wish to use the same configure line that RedHat used for compiling the Apache distributed with RedHat 7.2. Primarily, I am interested in using the same directory structure that was used...
Anyone know where I can find this?
./configure --prefix=... --confdir=... --bindir=... etc etc.
Download the source RPM and look in the spec file.

Use the named layout in the config.layout file to specify the installation paths.
May also be able to set it up in there. working on finding the Perfect "Apache" Command Line Options having a hard time finding anything useful regarding the new Apache and which methods work best
hehehe I found that out yesterday lol. was looking through the config and I was like Hey thats pretty cool. and if you really want to you can edit one of those or create your own and give it your own Nickname
And Very True Indeed. the Config Layout is the farthese thing from my concern. I finally got my test server "semi-operational" Still am not happy that mysql requires installation from RPM beacuse it throws everyything else off.
