Hi, Some of the functions listed in the PHP manual in say that only available in CVS! What is this CVS? Does anyone know about this and can tell me what to do so I can run those functions in my scripts?

CVS = "Concurrent Versions System"... I'm no CVS expert (or even a user) but basically it's used to maintain source code that has multiple people working on it.... keeps track of changes and keeps people in sync.

What they mean is that those features are implemented in a "working copy" of PHP but not in the stable release. Since it's open source, you can download the latest copy from CVS and compile it yourself, but it could contain debug code and is not guaranteed to be bug-free or even work. But it also means the features are in development and should appear in a future stable release.

Hope that helps. Blind leading the blind?
