    Question block SPAM supporter REACH.COM.SG

    Hi,

My clients are not happy, as mentioned in some previous thread, they again are getting SPAMS from the network REACH.COM.SG, funny they don't have any contact email or phone no. in the website. Makes their motives very suspecious.

Using SPAMCOP gives emails to postmaster@reach.com.sg , says no abuse record found!.

Can anyone advise what should be done to help my clients?

    Thanks

If everyone.net is you, then it looks like the email originated from 202.126.158.128.

Doing a whois on arin and then apnic shows this email address for contact information:

    shamirhan.sulaiman@reach.com

    You might try:

    abuse@reach.com

    Above them, possibly C&W Singapore:

    abuse@cw.net

More than likely, they're not going to care. You should just block the network at your firewall, unless you do business with them.

What kind of customers complain about spam?

my hosting customers complain about SPAM, one of them uses everyone.net email services but others use internal POP emails provided in the hosting solution.

How do i know which network to safely block?

    reach.com.sg - 203.120.78.49 is advertised by AS4628.

Just block all ips advertised by AS4628. I am sure your problem with them will go away instantly.

They would have complaints, but if you have root access you can block *.cn

Reach.com.sg and www.scv.com.sg are the worst local ISP in Singapore. They never do anything to stop spamming.

They sell to spammers .... Spammers use their local providers to spam all over Asia not just singapore , damn nonsense reach.com.sg

Yep. For example ISP like SCV (Singapore Cable ) and Starhub (SCV PArent owner and 56k Dial up) their users often use their connection to send spam mail. However I have wrote into the ISP a lots of time but no action was taken by them.
