Personally I haven't been able to sleep and my social life has been falling apart because I can't take the suspense, I'd like to know, too.

My PDA now reloads WHT every 5 minutes. I'm ecstatic.

Well, maybe not. That'd burn up a lot of money if I had the capability of doing that.

Well, thanks to you, now my remote is missing.
I was hoping to find out where you found yours, so I could look there and see if mine went there too.
Now I have to get up to change the channel.

I did move, well just for 3 months, im comming back their in december, and NO I DIDNT FIND THAT STUPID THING. My rooms there are EMPTY. The only things of mine on the ground right as I type this is my desk, my recliner, and my comp chair. Its just not there. ::Cries::

On a happier side, i got a Radio shack replacement, of course it cant browse the menu, have favorite chanels set and change the volume on the digital cable. When I called on the last day I was there to return the equipment, they didnt ask for my stuff, so I dont gotta pay that bill for about 6 months now.

If anyone was intrested I found my remote also.

I was another victim of this horrible crime that posted to the thread. It was a lounging hell for about 2 weeks. The only reason why we found it was because my roomate threw me a lighter and it went behind me on the couch. I blindly reached back to find it and hit the remote with my hand...

Yes... I did check the couch but, it was hidden. We have a blanket that draps over the back of the couch and behind the pillows. The remote had nestled underneath the blanket against the back of the couch. So when I pulled up the coushins to look for it, it wasn't there. I just saw the blanket and didn't even think about it.

It was a very joy filled day when I found it. Me and my roomate immediatly hit up the Kegerator for a victory beer

Geez, soon we'll have people committing suicide because they can't change the channel from the couch.

See... A normal TV I wouldn't bitch about. But I pay for digital cable for a reason. I like the features you get. The guide menu, being able to search for shows, set reminders for show, etc. Without the remote it's pretty much impossible to function...

Trust me, I know... I tried to do it

Have you ever went from channel 1 to channel 899? Not fun, not at all.

Remote control gremlins be damned- I refuse to walk over to the TV to change a channel. My wife was laying into me the other day because I tried to change the channel but the remote batteries were dead. Rather than walk 10 feet to the TV to switch it, I went all over hell and back through the house with the remote trying to find spare batteries.

The result? No extra batteries in the house. After 10 minutes of tearing things apart looking for some, I had to walk back over to the TV (swearing the whole time; I might add) and change it manually. Man was I mad!!!!
