get a US bank account


Is it possible to get a US bank account? I am live in Canada and I am canadian. I currently have AMEX credit card and CITI bank credit card...can I get US bank account from CITI bank?

Wait a minute... I am confused... I want to use PayPal as my payment gateway, their fees are listed below:

Withdraw Funds: Free for U.S. bank accounts, Fees for international banks

Add Funds: Free for U.S. bank accounts, Fees for international banks

So what I meant is to get a US bank account, not to get US dollar account, I have us dollar account at Royal Bank.

(or maybe I misunderstood PayPal's statement?)

for business bank accounts you dont need to travel to USA. You can incorporate and apply.
