MrWeirdo, you nailed it. The computer the memory was on, was in fact an ECS K7S5A motherboard. Occasionaly with the PC133 memory, the motherboard would only read it as 128 etc. I swapped in DDR and the problem went away. Also I put the PC133 into another computer to ensure the past problems were not memory related, and in fact it was not memory. I then determined it was the motherboard. Did you ever get any light on the issue, why this happens, I am surprised to see that its a somewhat wide spread problem.
