Sure thing, goto a command prompt on your linux box and type PICO
Pico comes with 99% of all linux distros (linux nuts, correct me if im wrong) so you should have it.
However, it seems you are under the impression that Pico is a wysiwyg editor... it's not. Pico, and VI for that matter... are text based. They are the Linux equal to Notepad in Windows. I once heard of a program that runs in X called CoffeCup... it's basically a glorified text editor designed for web-designers in mind.
