Thumbs up Kudos To WHT Posters!

I must say in this Website Review forum i have seen good character. I dont see any bashing going on. No "Your Design Sucks" stuff going on. Even when a design is terrible everyone still just helps out to get the person onto a good design and doesnt bash the designer.

    KUDOS!!

I've always wanted to say this to someone:

Geez, I've pooped better posts/templates/websites than that one!

Ahh, that feels better! But I agree, the people in here are very non-thread-crappish

Yes, I agree to all the other posters... However, almost all of the Website Reviews replies I've seen were very brief and reiterated what others have said.

This isn't a place to boost your post count, it's a place to seriously help others. So give your honest opinion!

    I agree! hehe

Actually, said what I wanted to say.

If the review forum is to be taken seriously there needs to be people skilled in the fine art of correct html coding, css coding, and handicapped user accomodation.

yeah, I just posted my site in here, and most of the people didn't like my content, or the design, but presented respectful, mature advice. I appreciate it a lot, and just became a fan.

I agree to a point. I have seen quite a few posts where it's a 2 word answer ("nice" ... "good job" ... stuff like that). I don't think that's helpful at all. There is always something that can be improved on any design, no matter how good it is. However, stating what others have already said is not always just to boost their post count. That could definitely be what they feel as well. By stating it again, it shows that others also feel that it should be considered. You don't change the color of your logo because one person says it doesn't work in red, but if 10 people agree, then it's something you may want to consider.

I have also seen some people that obviously are not ready for an honest review. I think some are looking for an ego boost instead of a critique, and when they get criticisms, they get offended and very defensive. If you ask for a critique, I will be brutally honest. That is the only way you learn. I respect those posters that will be honest but maintain the professionalism that is deserved.
