    Post 2Q's in 1 - sendmail & proftpd

1.My server seems to have exim mail and sendmail.... (i think because vbulletin&perldesk uses sendmail)

Is it good to keep both or just 1?

    1. A) How do i limit how much mail from a username/usergroup/domain can send each hour?

    2. For proftpd, how do I limit how much ftp conenctions can come from 1 login at the same time?

    Thanks.

    MultiVol,

the sendmail you talk of is nothing but the sendmail wrapper of exim so you need not worry about it

as for proftpd, it is the best FTP daemon out there and it already has a default finite limit so dont worry.

If you want to decrease it you have to go to /etc/proftpd.conf and manually edit it
