I've been looking around at colo deals and there is one thing that confuses me a bit.
I see a lot of references to a connection being "fully burstable"...
Now, if I have 3 mpbs, what does that mean? What exactly is the 3 mpbs if it can burst higher?
When a provider says (for example) $300 per mpbs, does that mean I get an unmetered 3 mpbs or are they just averaging n GB per month over each second? If it is the latter, then "fully burstable" is more clear, but potentially can severely cost you in overages?
