    Well its here.. Your thoughts? I am personally still running 7.2 on both home PC and servers..

    You mean Redhat, right?

    Gotta wait a couple weeks before trying to download it...the mirrors will be saturated for a while. Definately can't wait to check it out!

    Well I just got all five ISO's

    I used mirrors in France and got about 80KBps on all of them
    Voiding warranties is what I do best.

    Slackware 9 (currently in beta phases) might be more than 1 cd _total_ - They're pushing the idea to make your own customized iso

    I'm getting decent rates from the University of Florida FTP, but it's on Mandrake, they don't have 8 up yet.
