Your opinion: Which domain should I use?

I currently sell domain names through my regular web hosting sites, but now I'm considering setting up a seperate site for just domain registration stuff.

Which domain do you think would be best? My target market is new businesses in my local area who don't really know how the internet works, etc.. as well as web designers just looking for a decent deal.

    2. DomainSmarty.com

    Thanks for your opinion.

DomainSmarty.com sounds a little "catchier" and easier to remember to me.

    I agree. Namesmarty is good.

However I dont understand why all new registrars have "name" in front of them...

Well DomainSmarty doesn't have "name" in front of it.

And I like that one as well.

Why don't you register NameSmarty.com (available) and go with that? It's slightly shorter, has one less syllable, and I think sounds a little better.

I picked domainsmarty rather than simply "name"smarty because I plan to use this as a site that is marketted towards "newbies". When you see domainsmarty, it immediately shows you that the site is about domains. Simply using "namesmarty" is a tiny bit vague, and I didn't want my potential customers having to wonder about anything.

Although maybe I'm wrong. Does anyone else agree that the simpler namesmarty.com is better than domainsmarty.com?

Yeah, the name domainsmarty does grow on you after a while, eh? I didn't think it was that great at first, but it's not bad at all.
