On a normal day it seems to be between 2 - 8, but there are always spikes, I just don't buy the backup excuse.
I appreciate a user running a dogdy script would cause massive spikes, but this is happening way to often. The servers are pretty nice, and even when it's about 4 they respond fast, but anything over 12 and it's terrible.
They are a well known host on here, and I signed up on them based on previous experiences posted here, but man I'm starting to regret signing up
My shared server with Nocster had problems with people running abusive scripts - it peaked the other day between 40-50, but they shut down CPanel, so the server still worked, and there was no downtime. Now that that client is no longer on the server, with cpanel running, the average server load is around ~.25 or less. Just make sure that the high server load isn't slowing down your site. If it is, make sure the hosting company knows about it.
