Does someone on this forum got a managed dedicated server from voxel.net? They don't state (visible) prices on their site (I hate it when a site does that, that always makes me decide not to choose that product, but fir Voxel I make an exception ) and I would first like to hear from you what you are paying them before I contact a sales person.
If you have a managed server at Voxel, what are the specs and how much do you pay for it? And are they worth the money (please share some experiences).
Got a server there for 5 months and it was in the price range jayglate mentioned but I had some more BW. That was back then when they were on above.net. Never had a downtime and I loved the above.net network speed. I just moved on because I had to downgrade my biz.
Overall support was good but not in a babysitting kind of way. I was rather unexperienced back then and had some questions.

Sorry, but if you are *good friends* then why are you painting Voxel as such an UNappealing choice??
- the guy who owns this thread didn't ask for a CPanel box in his enquiry, so there is no reason for you to hijack the thread anyway..
- Voxel DOES provide 24/7 support, so why say they don't?
It's a pity you couldn't have left this thread for just Voxel customers to post replies, as is the intention of this forum.
Maybe I should find a thread of enquiry about pwebtech and tell the world that "..Jay is a friend, but if you want a quality server and superior support and uptime, pwebtech will likely pass the enquiry on to us, as he doesn't provide that service"
I'll admit I have a vested interest here and I *apologise* to Blikje for steering the thread this way, but Jay's comments are misleading and I wanted to clear that up.
The person who started this thread has been enquiring about cpanel providers who use NAC. And voxel is a fine choice, but from my many conversations with raj, they don't do much cpanel hosting and their support isn't 24/7, but via 911 pager only. And yes, pegasus and voxel pass leads to each other back and forth. And we are a voxel customer through ubersmith. And I am not attempting, to hijack this thread away.

Sorry Chicken, blow this away if it's out of line.. but I think defense is allowed.
LOL .. Jay, I am not wrong.. there is absolutely no chance of Voxel passing any such leads to pwebtech for CPanel servers, or any other servers for that matter, because as part of the Voxel group, we do that and support IS 24/7.. as well as 911 pager, and prices start at under $200, and bandwidth is NAC [that you got right]
I have always had the utmost respect for you, but....
I don't know whether voxel would or would not pass this on to you. What I do believe, however, is that if they so choose that should be their choice and it was inappropriate for you to pre-empt and/or presume that choice through your posts in this thread.

Well, if you read well you can see I didn't ask specific for a Cpanel server, so I don't know where you got that from. You began talking about Voxel passing Cpanel requests off to you.
Also, if that were true, you should handle this partner with respect since you can lift with their good brand. But you immediatly begin that Voxel is very expensive and that some find it worth it. That's no respect for other ones business models.
I also had respect for you since you are representing a good company and had respect for others, but don't start bashing some one else, also because that was totally not the intention of this thread!
Is there anyone else who would like their Voxel experience with me/us?

The basing thing was closed, I asked if there were more experiences with Voxel, and I don't own the thread, but since I started it I would be my right to keep it on topic as much as possible. If you start your own thread, you can set your rules okay.
We have our servers with voxel/boxnix (both colo & rent) from early this year (just did the contract for two more for shared hosting)
Once we had a slight delay of getting a server online. But they gave us free month for that
Apart from that isolated occasion it has all been happy sailing with them. Personalized support & expertise is their plus. They helped to resolve mySQL load problems & bunch of others related to CPanel shared hosting. I'd recommend them (You won't find 99 bucks offers but quality hardware for good price)
