OMG the new CPANEL THEME ROCKS!!!!

Has anyone tried out the latest CPANEL theme? Well let me tell you one thing.... It is definately one of the BEST CPANEL themes I have seen......

CHECK IT OUT at your nearest WHM manager!!!!

You can find it under WHM. Click on the link "Addon cPanel Themes". The theme is called VERTEX..

So far customers absolutely LOVE this theme!!

This is the best visual makeover for cpanel in a long time.

I can't seem to find them on the above mentioned web site. Perhaps you could provide a direct URL?

The theme does look very very nice. Props to the developer!

I do recall IMHosted having some icons like that at their site (can't find them now.) Might explain the IM on all of them?

Vertex skin definitely looks awesome! I'm quite tempted to switch over to the new skin for our web hosting company. Does anyone know if this skin will automatically be updated when CPanel is updated?

The disadvantage is that I've got AutoInstaller script installed, which means there isn't a link in Vertex for it .

    (that 2 minutes looking helps)

The control panel demo is offline for me, but the image of it does seem to bear out the assumption that this one uses the same images.

I like it. Looks pretty cool compared to the canned ones provided on installation. Anyone else have any to share?

While this is definately nice, it really needs quite a bit of work. There are parts missing and it doesn't support addon domains and many of the newer Cpanel features.

I love the look of it, but it's yet another example of the Cpanel folks including something that isn't finished.

<edit> my bad...my blindness strikes again...addon domains are there. It's just oddly organized is all...</edit>

I saw the Vertex theme well over a month ago. Imhosted has had that theme for a good while now.

Its nice.. but nothing I'd get overily excited about.

if imhosted sold their cpanel theme to Darkorb I don't understand why the watermarks were left on the icons ?!

    People,

cPanel X was redisigned yesterday. WHM's "X Skin" was also redisigned, the new versions will be included in WHM shortly. In the mean time, for all of you who would like to install them manually:

    cPanel X:

    http://pronic.biz/X/cpanelXskin-1.0.tar.gz <-- Download

    WHM's Xskin:
    http://pronic.biz/X/whmXskin_preview.jpg <-- Screen Shot
    http://pronic.biz/X/whmXskin-1.0.tar.gz <-- Download

These two skins are completely bug free and have been thoroughly tested

This theme is great but it's mail functions have not been updated to be compatible with the newest cpanel pop functions, specifically quota and subdomain email. The fields are not correct in the pop screen files. The webmail is also broke..

This is an imhosted theme, wondering how it made it in cpanel, their software division links and such are there and the icons have their mark. I hope this was ok'd by them ;-) and not presented by someone else..

Very nice theme just needs some updating here and there to prevent support emails..

    Very nice Bert.

One of the first new themes I've seen that has everything working correctly! There are too many themes out there that are outdated and broken, even new ones, this one works perfectly..

    Keep up the great work..

The webmailogin.html is missing from the vertex theme, copy it into the folder from one of your other themes.

The form input field needs changing from "hidden" to text within
/vertex/mail/passwdpop.html to fix the change password field.

Apart from that seems all good

Actually thats not correct, the field your changing is there for quota and is needed to work correctly, it is just hidden to not display. It's like that to be Backwards compatible with old theme method of changing both password and quota at once.

There are other errors in the pops section too with quota and subdomain email changes.. All files should be looked at closely in the mail directory ..

If you change the entire table within the form tags as follows in the passwdpop.html file, you should be in business for changing the passwords..

    PHP Code:
    <table>
    <
    tr>
    <
    td class="text"Changing password for: <font class="txt"><cpanel sprint="$FORM{'email'},=,0">@<cpanel print="$FORM{'domain'}"></font>
    </
    td>
    <
    td>
    <
    input type="hidden" name="email" value="<cpanel print="$FORM{'email'}">">
    <
    input type="hidden" name="domain" value="<cpanel print="$FORM{'domain'}">">
    </
    td>
    </
    tr>
    <
    tr>
    <
    td class="text"> New Password:  <input type="text" name="password"> </td>
    <
    td class="text"><input type="hidden" name="quota" value="<cpanel Email="getpopquota($FORM{'email'},$FORM{'domain'})">"></td>
    </
    tr>
    <
    tr>
    <
    td>&nbsp;</td>
    <
    td>&nbsp;</td>
    </
    tr>
    <
    tr>
    <
    td><input type="submit" value="Change" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 8pt;"></td>
    <
    td>&nbsp;</td>
    <
    td><input type="reset" value="Clear" style="background-color: #eeeeee; color: black; font-family: Arial; font-size: 8pt;"></td>
    </
    tr>
    </
    table

Also, if you don't like all the trash sent on the screen after updating the password. This is usually visible by many spaces then finally the account name with a plus sign near the bottom, do as follows.

    Edit the dopasswdpop.html

    Look for the

    PHP Code:
    <pre>
    <
    cpanel Email="passwdpop($FORM{'email'},$FORM{'password'},$FORM{'quota'},$FORM{'domain'})"></pre
    Change it to..

    PHP Code:
    <cpanel Email="passwdpop($FORM{'email'},$FORM{'password'},$FORM{'quota'},$FORM{'domain'})"

You will still see the account name + domain name visible but all the spaces are now gone, it's cpanel thing :-)
