    Constant hacking attempts

The same person keeps trying to break in my server. Atleast 10 times a day this fool has attempted to break into my system. he keeps doing this /scripts/..% 52f../winnt/system32/cmd.exe?/c+dir.
I guess that individual isn't smart enough to realize that im running linux

Isn't that code red virus just scanning IP's for un-patched open servers to infect?

Very common...its annoying, but harmless other than taking up bandwidth.

Chances are the server doing the scanning is infected by a worm and the owner of the server doesn't realize it. A polite telephone to the owner usually sorts the problem if you can trace them. If not report the abuse to the ISP. They usually frown upon this even if the owner of the server isn't doing it intentionally.
