buying comp parts
It's time for an upgrade! this damn 800mhz doesnt cut it anymore
LOL
I have a mother board that only supports slot A processors. so i have a amd athlon 800mhz, slot a.
i need to upgrade. i was wondering if anyone knew of any places where you could buy a mother boards, and processors, online. for low prices? or just some place that might be giving good deals, etc.....
so if anyone knows any please list them. thanks

I ALWAYS check at www.newegg.com FIRST before I buy anything. And I'll pay a little more to get it with them, if necessary.
For instance, if I could get a mobo + cpu + cooling unit from Store X for $140, I'd gladly pay up to $160 for the same rig at NewEgg. Why? Because my time fighting a bad retailer is worth a lot more to me than the $20 I drop out of pocket.

what i do is goto pricewatch find what im looking for exactly (like a mis 6341d pro or something) then i goto yahoo shopping and find the best price seems to work pretty good...just my 2 cents.

I can recommend knowledgemicro.com and newegg.com. I've had good experiences with both, but knowledgemicro.com seems to get their shipments out much faster.
