Hello there,
I changed back from PowerVPS/Defender Hosting after 4 years with they. They have a new HSPC server (I was allways on the old node) that wasnt compilant with the new specs and prices of other popular hosts, and because I was allways hitting RAM, and with the same RAM and same websites I'm not hitting it all the time with Future Hosting, I change to Future Hosting and I'm happy now. Wonder why PVPS has that problem/bug/or other ting, but moving to the subject...
So I sign up on Future Hosting using one of ther promo on the VPS Forum. I got 50% more RAM and disk space, if I'm not mistaken.
Signup process
The signup process did take less than 12 hours. I was able to send a "test ticket", and they get back to me in less than 30 minutes, as they do allways when we're dealing with litle things.
Then I email them on sales to get my 50% on the service.
So far so god.
Support
They have a fast response time. Recently due to costumers requests (I'm one) they allow posting reply's to the tickets via e-mail.
But what they really need to change is the sentence "I am checking this and will update you shortly.". This is frustating. No one cares about what they're working, most people just careabout things solved.
Services
Services are good. Ping is fast from my United Kingdom VPS, load is fine, node hold up good with the clients they have. Till not I didnt have any node related problems.
The only tiny thing about it, is that they only give for my plan 500.000 inodes. This was not mentioned on the contract, and I can just view it on VZPP (not Parallels with billing control panel, the VPS control panel). They have increased the limit to 2000.000, but sometimes when I change my package (add an IP, do other things), it reset to 50.000. I need to keep an eye on it.
Relationship with the client
I send a ticket a while ago asking about upgrates, so I didnt loose my entire package, with atm is a good deal, and they ask me just "tell me what you want, and we will make an offer". This is very client-orientated and very positive, and I might do business with them later using other VPS.
Website
Website is simple. Howerever I break one rule on sign in with they. I allways contact sales or support by phone. ATM they don't have a phone on the website, and I think they might need to consider to add one shortly.
Support
Support is... whell, generaly good. Sometimes I ask things that make them confuse. For example, I did ask to update OpenSSL, and then told they've updated OpenSSH Package. But other times they're replying with 10 minutes with a solution. So, they need to get better a litle, but as it is is far from excelent for the price I pay to have a VPS managed.
Final comments
I like Future Hosting. ATM reilable, fast, good support.

Check what they're offering right now on WHT (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=763734)
If you want any IP to test pings or anything like that, pm me. I wont post it on this thread.
Thanks,
Rui aka SL
PS: sorry, my English is sometimes not so good. :-P

Thank you for the review. This could help make or break feature clients. Please leave another review after about a year.
