Hi All,
I've got a client who was having problems with media temples grid service. They recently moved their servers, changed some dns details and switched the server back to php4. This has caused some problems and they never answer support tickets.
Any small vps ~256MB or so should do the job for about 10 small sites, I normally use slicehost for unmanaged or knownhost for managed. Something under $30 would be good also. More than anything I want good service, ~5-10min reply to support tickets would be great.

personally i was looking at wiredtree.com, hostv.com, and solarvps.com... i havent chosen between hostv and solarvps yet.

If 5-10 minute support response time is that crucial to you, I think you may have to raise your budget a bit... you also have to tack on the cost of managing it as well. Also will you need some sort of a control panel, such as cPanel? I know you did not mention it, however I am just trying to find out. If so, I'd recommend not running cPanel on 256mb ram but instead 512mb ram at least. You could probably get away with DirectAdmin on 256mb ram if you are on a serious budget.
