My current web host (SectorLink) has been acting flaky lately so I'm in the market for a new web host. My requirements are at least 6GB of space, the ability to run multiple websites on the same account (I'm currently at 7) and ASP, PHP, and mySQL capabilities. I'd also like the price to be competitive with what I'm currently paying ($11/month) though I'm willing to go up a bit.
I'm currently looking at 3 hosts, but I'm open to any suggestions. My short list right now includes:
HostGator - Not a Windows host, I know (though they're working on Windows plans), but they do offer ChiliSoft ASP capabilities. This host would give me unlimited space and domains for $14.95 per month.
AllReseller - This host would give me 50GB of space and unlimited domains for $11.95 a month.
Aspnix - This host would give me 10GB of space and 7 domains for $7.77 a month.
Has anyone used any of these hosts? What were your experiences with them? Could you recommend any other hosts? Side Question to any classic ASP developers out there: Have you used ChiliSoft ASP and, if so, how good is it at running scripts originally written for IIS?

Your best bet on the hosts would be to do a search here on each of them. You'll find lots of useful information, and I believe there's been recent posts on all of them you listed.
For me personally, I ended up buying a reseller account with Eirca.net. I've got a lot of classic asp stuff on it, but I'm also doing a lot of .net development with it. They provide all kinds of goodies for programmers, asp, .net, php, mysql, mssql, and you can provision both windows and linux accounts. You can load up with as many domains as you want on one account, or you could actually setup separate accounts for each one (you get 20 user accounts with this reseller package).
I don't know if it's in your price range, but their starting reseller is $24.95, but I used a discount coupon I found here on wht and got it for $19.95 a month. It's a gig less than your asking for in storage, but you get 5gb storage and 50gb of bw. I'm not crazy about the hsphere control panel, but from a developer's perspective it hasn't hindered me, and I've been really happy with them.
As far as chilisoft, I haven't used it myself, but the concensus I get from windows developers in general is that it's not a very clean or stable implementation of asp.

Aspnix is in my thread here for a short list of Windows hosters. You can check out the others in that thread if you want for possible investigation. I am current testing Arvixe.com which can meet your requirements at a good price.
I have yet to come across a large hosting company that has any clue about the technical details of Windows hosting and even more importantly the large companies have zero flexibility to help with the unique configuration issues that developers always seem to run across.
I suggest a smaller friendly hoster that knows Windows such as Arvixe, Softsys and possibly Aspnix.

Actually, your thread is where I learned about Aspnix. :-)
Since I last wrote this, I've contacted AllReseller where I was told that they offer curl for PHP, but not Image Magick and (more seriously) *NO* components for ASP or PHP. That's a deal breaker for me. That, combined with the negative things I've heard about ChiliSoft ASP (which HostGator uses) leaves me with just Aspnix on my (now very) short list. I'll look over your thread again for some other possibilities.

Good Windows hosts include www.EuroVPS.com (http://www.EuroVPS.com) and www.3essentials.com (http://www.3essentials.com) -- and these folks have great knowledge of the Windows server OS
Chilisoft is not a good ASP from what I hear. There are limitations, it's not true ASP.

Looking back over the list, I'm adding the following to my short list:
Arvixe (Unlimited space/domains for $11/month). I asked their Live Help support some questions and got some nice, quick replies.
MochaHost (Unlimited space, 5,000 domains for $7.95/month). I'm having trouble thinking of questions to ask since their site is so comprehensive.
Meanwhile, I posted a question to the ASPnix forum an hour and a half ago and it's unanswered. Not a huge deal, but in an era of Live Chat capabilities, having to wait an hour for a forum response seems slow.

HostGator has been "working" on Windows plans for way over a year. How much bandwidth will you need for your sites?

Yes, support responses via the ticket system at Arvixe have also been very fast.

I just looked at some web reports for January and it looks like I used under 12GB of traffic. I'm guessing that pretty much any host will be able to give me more than enough bandwidth for my sites.

I'm pretty sure I'm going with Arvixe now. I noticed that they have an affiliate system. Are you part of that? If so, I'd be happy to give your referral code (or however it works) since your post was how I heard about them.

Posting affiliate links at WHT is against the rules: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/rules.php
The affiliate system at Arvixe seems a bit unique in that Arvixe has a very long 60 day money back guarantee period so there is of course a 60 day wait which probably makes it a bit discouraging for people who like affiliate programs but has to be good for the hosting customer so like most things at Arvixe, they have a solid sensible approach.
It will be good to have another user testing and reviewing Arvixe here.
In my case I am only planning to torture test the ASP.NET 3.5 technology so your PHP/MySQL combo will be interesting along with the retro old school ASP

Didn't realize Affiliate links were against the rules (makes sense though). I keep meaning to learn .Net but never get around to it. I've noticed for awhile that no one seems to use Classic ASP anymore, so I really need to update my skills. (I'm also a skilled JavaScript programmer, but server-side coding is a must!) I'm going to focus my efforts on PHP for now. I'm good there, but I want to be more than just good. ;-)
