Hello,
I work in torrent marketing niche (legit and fully legal marketing) and I need a solution that will allow me to host about 3000 torrents at a time. I don't know how to solve this so I'm looking for help from someone who knows a bit about hosting and torrents. Please help me to find the best solution for my needs. I would prefer hosting it on couple smaller vps servers than on one dedicated. I used to host it on windows server, but utorrent crashes with more than 600 torrents. I think I would add no more than 300 torrents per vps. Please let me know if you can help me here.
Thank you,
nukular
PS I realize this may be a bit of work for you, so we can agree on some form of payment if you help me here, please PM me.

Providers are unable to contact you and offer their service based on this post as it is against forum rules. This doesn't sound like it is extremely hard to do, though I would go with splitting the load to multiple dedicated servers, on providers that will allow you to run peer2peer applications on their network.
On a side note, we've had someone do a short project similar to yours, and he had no trouble using utorrent for a large amount of files, though you may want to look into using the "/recover" parameter of utorrent to run multiple instances of the client on the same machine.
