EARhost under new management...bright future?

First off I would like to start by introducing myself. My name is Travis Rowland, I am the owner of Flohost Web Services. I will not post a link as I know it will get deleted. If you do a search through WHT you will see that there are not any problems with the Flohost service, and if there was they were addressed very quickly.

I want you all to know that I am taking over control of EARhost. There are a lot of good people using it as their webhost and I hate to see it being destroyed by Tim and not to mention James's reputations. My reputation is very sturdy and I am aiming to turn this company around.

My goal is simple, provide cost-effective hosting with excellent support. I am very experienced in both fields, all of my customers at Flohost are satisfied as you can see browsing through the forums. If you like you may contact a few of them directly and ask them what they think of the service and support.

I know that EARhost has a very bad reputation due to the previous management and I am going to fix all of that. I know that it may take me awhile but I am prepared for that. I hope that you all are willing to support me in my efforts because this company will no longer have anything to do with Paradise Designs or any of those other companies that are associated with Tim.

I see a bright future and I hope you are all with me in this and can offer your support. I am not doing this as an advertisement, but only my first step to reform EARhost. I want to clear up the bad reputation and start over again, as I stated before I hope you are all willing to back me up in this.

That is about all that I have to say at the moment on this.

The website is down at the moment because the server that the main site was hosted on is unplugged because Tim is late with the bill I will get that site moved ASAP

Another something, in the world of Tim:
Today while I was at school there was a minister from back east called the 1-8666-EARHOST number. Since that now redirects to my phone it rang through to my house. It was answered by my mom. It was an angry customer. He was threatening to sue (my mom thought he was talking about me) and turn me in for fraud and she was scared to death. She was crying, I can not believe that Tim can put up with that crap. My mom pulled me out of school and made me call the guy up and clear things up. I did that and the guy is going to get hosting through EARhost. He is exicited about this new opportunity that I presented to him. That really makes me upset that it happened, but it just goes to show you what goes on if you do not take care of business.

Well, I am very anxious to get this thing on the road and it is exciting that I get to do this. I am honored to help out this company in any way possible. Are you all stuck with your opinions about EARhost or do you think that I can change your minds for you? Please let me know, and if you have any suggestions you can post them here. I am open to constructive criticism.

Best Regards,
Travis Rowland

Well, I wish you the best of luck with this endeavor. However I don't see why you'd keep the 'tainted' name. Why not just bring it all under the wing of Flohost and let everyone forget about the EARhost fiasco?

I am the systems administrator at the school, I admin all the computers in both schools in the disctrict. They have a special schedule for me and I spend most of my day on the computer. I am a valuable asset to them and they realize that, the only thing I do not do in school is instant messenger, other than that I can check emails, respond to emails, fix server problems etc. The rest can wait until I get home.

But you can put your press release under another forum, I'm sure that this its not the correct one, althrough you can confuse because another companies already did it, which give you the right to think that this its the correct forum.

you posted in attempt for commercial gain, clearly violating forum guidelines.

If I am not mistaken, this is the forum to discuss webhosting. That is what I want to do, I want to talk about EARhost. Where would be the correct forum to post this?

Where is the press release forum anyway? The lounge? Related offers? Website Reviews?

If I wanted to announce our impending purchase of SAH, where would I go?

That is true, you can consider trying to improve the reputation of this company as commercial gain. Thank you for pointing that out, I guess this should have been in some sort of advertisement forum, however if I were to do that it would probably be deleted because it does not have prices listed in it. So if this and that forum are not the right place to post it, where do I post it? I am thouroughly confused

i think related offers would have been fine if they community leaders (they aren't called mods anymore ) objected to it being in shared offers

People, back off!
You guys are so ready to flame at someone that you would find anything to flame about! Get lives! Anyway, I think he is doing a wonderful job at trying to get EARhost back on its feet after what Tim did to drive it into the ground.

Give him some credibility - at least he is trying is what I can't say for a lot of you guys.

Good job, Travis.
