Hi everyone,
For a long time ive seen tons of websites offering toll free numbers (and also payed ones) that are used for call forwarding, messaging services etc.
Does anyone know where i could find more information about these services, what kind of pabx is needed and if there is any hosting software that connects to a pabx, voip router, or whatever is needed
Thanks in advance!

I avoided purchasing any hardware and use Kall8 for a toll-free # with forwarding and voicemail/fax services. My experience has been great with them and their prices are very inexpensive.

I have been using phonepeople.com for years now.. Only thing I dislike is not having a fax option for the toll free. Requires me to buy a fax line elsewhere that runs $10 extra a month.

Just do a search on WHT here -- there are a lot of frequently mentioned services with reviews (e.g. Kall8.com). Good luck.

Theres alot of good companies out there, i'd also suggest against having your own equipment. Just be cautious of the company you chose, we use one of the largest companies out there and the customer service is all outsourced, it's very very difficult speaking to them @ if you try their email support nothing is ever resolved so you HAVE to call.

There are a lot of companies in the market that are offering similar features, like call forwarding, group messaging, voice mail services, etc ….
But, I have been using 800pbx.com since few years now and it perfectly suits my needs.
It is more user-friendly.
It also has the free fax option to send fax anywhere anytime.

Thanks for all the replies!
But what i was wondering is, what equipment do those companies that offer these services have, and what kind of lines etc.
I want to know this because i want to offer toll free numbers to my customers.
