There was a post here, a few months back, with the URL to a site that allows you to create small recordings...using their file library of voices. It was free and pretty cool!

    Anyone remember that URL???

Not entirely. I mean, it sounded a bit like some of the automated phone operators...but it sounded good! If we had a need for it, I would definitely not be ashamed to use one of their recordings.

You could choose different people's voices and male/female.

BTW - I've been searching Google since my last post...looking for it for you!

I checked it out but neither of these would make good phone recordings in my opinion. Maybe if you wanted to sound like a high tech company, maybe like a gimmick that would be cool but past that I don't know.

    Question

    Monte,

Can you just post it? Seems it would only get her business.

If not, that's cool I will PM you..

This is the quote I received:

Turnaround time is 24 hours from the time we receive payement. For your convenience, we accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express at www.mktmania.com/paymentcenter.html

Looking forward to hearing from you"

    What does she sound like?

Any idea what's better, a male or female voice mail voice?

I personally think female would be more relaxing, but just curious if anyone has ever seen a psych study done on the subject or anything...
