Six months ago, I signed up a one year service with CirtexHosting because of their 30 day money back guarantee. I tried it for 28 days and canceled its service because I didn't like it. I got an email back stating that I will get my refund back. My mistake was trusting them that they will refund it into my credit card. I didn't check my credit card bill. Last week, I went back and check every bill in my credit card for the last 6 months but I didn't see any refund from CirtexHosting so I contact them again. They told me that they can not refund anything from credit card company for more than 120 days. I told them to send me a check for the refund minus the amount that the credit card company charge them to my checking. Today, I got a partial refund of 45% of the amount that I paid them. So I guess either the credit card company charges them 55% every time their customers use the credit card or they charged me the web hosting service for the last 6 months.

Hi,
Please Private message me your ticket id in our helpdesk as there must have been a mistake with the refund processing.
1) We do full refund if within 30 days
2) We do prorated refund for the shared/reseller hosting/vps hosting if after 30 days so this should not be the case.
There could've been some confusion and I apologize.
We'll be sure to take care of it for you.

baxao, I am sorry to hear of your trouble. Cirtex has a very good reputation around here, so I am sure they will be able to straighten out what is certainly only an honest mistake.

Was it ever determined what caused the refund issue?
