Hi Guys,
I am looking for a decent DID service provider which I can use for my home which allows the following:
1) Local Hamilton, Ontario, Canada phone number
2) Unlimited North American calling'
3) Unlimited calling to Poland
I would be using a pap2 linksys adapter and my asterisk box for this service. I've seen Call Centric offering something like this for $37USD but without any customer service telephone number it makes me reconsider their services.
Can anyone recommend a good provider for around the $40 mark that has the features I require?
Thanks in advance.

I've used CallCentric for a while and the service has been good. Support via e-mail has been prompt the couple of times I've used it.
Also used callwithus.com which might be worth looking at.

I have been with CallCentric for over a year, and can not complain at all about their services. All issues I encountered were properly taken care of. Even configuration of a device they were unfamiliar with.
I can recommend their service..

if you are using this for home and want unlimited especially poland i would definitely recommend broadvoice their plans incl 35 countries if i remember correctly including poland
remember though a lot of people in europe use mobiles and they arent like here in the USA and will charge per min extra with any voip provider if you call a mobile but to landlines is free

If you want the best service and quality. I suggest you go with ACN. They have the best VOIP and VOIP videophone available. If you go en their website and turn out wanting to buy the product, you will be referred to a independent representative.
If you want more info you can send me a PM

ringing mobiles etc in europe will cost, because unlike in the US&Canada, nobody pays anything to receive a call regardless of where the call is coming from :-) personally ive used broadvoice up to recently, and the service seemed to be pretty reliable and efficient

Check out http://www.junctionnetworks.com. Not sure if it meets all your requirements.

I have been with BranZone and nationvoice. Both are fairly good the control panel for NationVoice is better though and you can have more control over your server.

I have an account with CallCentric and have had nothing but exceptional service. Their e-mail/ticket technical support is superb and they've always gone above to help me resolve any issues (for example, they asked for screenshots of my Linksys SPA setup to make sure that it was optimally setup). I haven't had to wait more than 30 minutes for a reply on any ticket that I can recall.
I've also started service more recently with Future-Nine, and so far it has been good, but the service is in "beta" and I've only been using it for a couple weeks, so it's a bit early to make any verdicts.

don't want to state the obvious but my folks have Vonage and for a low cost solution, they seem to work well.

Vonage also require you to use their hardware adapters as far as i recall (you do not receive or gain access to any SIP credentials)

You may want to look into Magic Jack. You won't get unlimited Poland but you will get unlimited US & Canada. For your Poland calls if you only plan on calling one or two people send them a Magic Jack and then its unlimited calling back and forth. Despite some people's complaints about its quality it all depends on the quality of the internet connection you are using and running QOS on your router helps.
