Hey,
What is the best transparent credit card processor going (preferably has a module for WHMCS, too)?
By transparent, I mean all the details and the transaction go through the same website without going to the processor's gateway.

We use CDG Commerce with Quantum Gateway and have been very pleased.

I believe PayPal's Website Payments Pro keeps the customer experience on your website.

PayPal's monthly fees + rates for its merchant accounts are much higher than those of CDG though.

Yes, this is what I'm weighing up at the moment.
What's the withdrawal process with CDG?

CDG Commerce has my vote too. Used them for the last 4 years without any problems.

CDG pumps the cash directly into your back account.
It's also worth making a phone call to your local bank. They might be able to undercut CDG's rates.
Another one to consider is PayQuake. 2.39% with no setup, monthly fee, or gateway fee. Be sure to request Authorize.net if you sign-up with them. You should be able to get it for free. Authorize.net totally works with WHMCS. You can even push refunds back to your customers through the WHMCS admin interface.

Are you currently using them? Looks intriguing.

Yup, we've been a customer for about five years now. Customer service isn't all that great. They hold bankers hours and are even difficult to reach during such hours. However, the rates aren't bad and we have not had any major issues. So I can't complain all that much.

Paypal acquired Verisgn's "Payflow pro" product a couple years ago -- we have been using it for ~8 years.

To the OP: keeping the visitor on your site ensures you must be PCI DSS Compliant of course. Sending the visitor elsewhere for the transaction makes things a lot simpler in that regard.
