I thought the article was intriguing. Sure sounds like Page Rank is on its way out.

I believe Page Rank for all intents and purposes is not dead. It isn't as relevant when it comes to online presence though. Many big companies who are not bothered the least by a PR0. It's because all they need is an online presence. Create a name and a mark. So, from business side of things (not SEO), it is not important at all.
Just my two cents.

Well, large companies can rely on their name to generate business. Also, large companies are naturally linked to because of their brand name.
SEO seems to be more of a battle for small and medium sized businesses.

PR has been "paralyzed" in my opinion for almost a year now. PR does not mean ranking, PR is simply a guide like a car review magazine.

...which has little or nothing to do with SEO. At best a gadget that can be added to a page to make it look better.

That was a very interesting post... Behavior Search sounds very intriguing - but I have to agree the importance of PR seems to be dwindling.
Behavior search means so much more for us as users, but could spark some kind of debate when it comes to how much Google is getting to 'know us.' The average user (like my Brother, Mum, Friend etc) won't understand that personal search is still anonymous (IP), and it may cause panic... Just my thoughts.
