leaseweb help

Leaseweb is one of the cheapest hosts out there and having dealt with them once before and I know that their customer service or even the quality of their service is not the greatest.
Having said that I needed a really cheap server so I ordered from them again. After 2 days, they responded that I need to pay for the order when I already have. I emailed them back, and they asked for more details the next day. So I sent them more details about the payment.
This morning I received a email saying I have to pay a further 169 euros for them to setup my server.
Now it is true that I have used their server before, but only for a month, and I have sent them no less than 5 emails to cancel my service, and yet each time they reply with something that has nothing to do with canceling and then finally they sent me an email that they cancel the server.
Now that I have paid them the money already and for whatever reason they think that I own them more, is there anyway to get the money, I paid them this time, back? Like file a claim or something like that?
P.S. I paid with paypal
Thank you

You may be able to file a Paypal claim.
That said, it sounds like they simply did not properly record your payment. I would recommend telephoning them if you can to get it sorted out. It should simply be a matter of them recognizing your previous Paypal payment as having been "received", based on what you stated. They may use an automated system that did not recognize the payment.
Good luck!

generally when you get a server from leaseweb the payetn works like this, as its pro-rated after ordering.
I fyou order say on the 15th of the month, then the total fee you pay during ordering is in fact to cover the next full calendar month. After you complete the order

Try filing a PayPal claim, probably the only way you are going to get any money back

Finding the cheapest solution isn't the best answer. You'll find more and more that you (the consumer) gets screwed in the end. Take my advice and the advice of others and do your research before you commit to any provider. It never hurts to be extra conservative!
Good luck!
