Stream specific files

A company X provides phone support to its services and must (by law) provide every recorded call to the calling customer.
This company X doesn't want the common-user to be able do download his phone call recording, so they want it to be streamed to the customer.
How can I accomplish this, considering that many customers will be listening to their own calls simultaneously? It must be streamed, but only to the "owner".

You could store the audio files (mp3 I assume) in a folder that isn't accessible from the web, and use PHP to get the file and stream it when the user is logged in.
That would make it difficult to download, but there are always ways of storing any audio that comes from a computer, even if it's just holding a tape recorder up to the mic.

Yes, I understand there will always be a way of saving the audio on the client side, but the common-user usually doesn't do that. There's no problem if someone does it, the company just don't want to provide it fully downloadable, as a normal file would be.
Doing the way you said (PHP), what format should I stream it? Sorry, but I never worked with streaming, but I know some PHP.

Streaming is relatively easy to do. Have you looked into even using htaccess/htpasswd to secure separate temporary directories for the recordings?

I understand it's relatively easy for who did it already.
I just need to know what technology should I go in to. If people tell me 'you should learn how to do it using a flash player, which you can get at somesite or windows media', if these technologies are indeed the ones that will solve my problem.

martinewski,
Take a look at the scripts in this index:http://php.resourceindex.com/Complet...io_Management/
You should find something there that will suit your needs.
You can also do "on demand content" streaming through a ShoutCast server, which would play the clips in the user's media player such as windows media player, or winamp, etc.
