Credit Cards processing for adult websites
Do any of you know a credit card processor that will allow people to pay for adult content ?
I have a client who is finding it difficult to source one that pays in GB pounds and allows the payment to be for adult services.
A lot of the ones above do not allow the charge ot be for adult services.
He was going to use a company called firepay.com but since he could not find a contact email address for them he decided against it (stinks of paypal's lack of contact information)

when using a third party credit card processor, what comes up on the customer's credit card statement, and do you need SSL to put the merchant on your page?

Some third party credit card processors like PlanetPayment or Paypal put both their name and your name on the credit card statement. Hostcharge seems to offer this soon for a small set up fee and monthly fee. Unless you use their API, you don't need SSL to use third party credit card processors because you can use their web based links
