What problems are you having at FastHosts?
If you're looking to switch hosts, what are your requirements in terms of disk space, bandwidth and price?

Hi there,
Judging from what you say you can probably make do with anything from a shared web hosting package upwards, although since your employer is running it then you may want to consider more secure and reliable web hosting services such as clustered business hosting or VPS and dedicated servers.

Have you been to the Zen Cart Forum? A search there will show other threads with the same problem / host and possible solutions.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome, guys!
Mike, thanks for the thread move. I wish it were that easy to change hosts!
Taking a look at the guide and faq, the feeling of INRTLS subsides very quickly.
The main issue I have with Fastshosts is that they use FastCGI to render the PHP, and that's not compatible with ZenCart. Something else with not allowing zone transfers into the SSL zone, and I need that for a cart.
I have been to the ZenCart forums, I have an account there as well (yelow as well as here) and I've made extensive use of the knowledge there, and the helpful community.
They have a handful of 'certified' hosts, but I would like to know if there are other completely-compatible hosts that they don't list, that aren't 'certified' or something.
The REAL REAL pressing issue that guided me into an account creation, is an .htaccess problem I've been having that I simply must have fixed today. I will make a separate, appropriately-placed thread for that.
Cold, you're right that Fasthosts is terrible, but they are not owned by 1

Oh, I did forget to say that Fasthosts by default do set up Windows ASP servers, but I got mine switched to Linux because I'm using PHP.
Thanks for the cPanel tidbit, I did not realize that it's a complete package like that. I've used it before, as well, and it is to my liking.
