Related to our servers, We want to mantain our Database server in OVH (France) due to its high power hardware / low price.
On the company we are searching for, we will put only our WebServer, that connects around 10 times/per webpage to the ServerDatabase (trought webservices) to get results from it.
Any idea about that ?, will be best than mantain our both servers on OVH bad bandwith ??

Just my opinion, for what its worth;
Don't ! keep your database server at the same datacenter or make sure you have a private highspeed network between them.
what you are about to do will not solve your bad bandwidth issues at all; one hitch between the new datacenter and ovh's and your whole infrastructure will slow down, this while you already are worries about ovh's network performance.

Yes, with LeaseWeb you can use the 100mbit port 24/7.

Hi 040Hosting.
I don't understand you.
You say that hosting the DatabaseServer and the WebServer in a same Hosting Provider are bad ? If case, can you explain me why ? and why locate on 2 different hosting providers ?

He is saying that you should keep them both at leaseweb or OVH, don't put the servers in different DCs.

Correct; unless you have a very low latency private line between the database and webserver. Whic is obviously not the case as the OP describes his experience with OVH.

thanks, so i understand that both servers need to be in same DC .. so it mean that it's a problem for us, due to our budget.
Comparing our hardware/price(OVH) vs leaseweb, the cost its a lot of difference
Now i will make another post about our configuration, to ask for alternatives in other hosting companies, ..

Budget is often a obstacle; my only advise is to see how you can raise your budget and see if you can't solve it in any other way. Hope your other post will make this part more clear.
Hope you will find a working solution for your needs.
