Most DC don't resell bandwidth, but should we say, they lease their bandwidth out.
Just curious, why do you need so much bandwidth?

i meant, what are the prices some have seen going direct to the companies?
i'm trying to save money on a current network

level3 is about $6.5/meg in LA area on 500mbps+ commit

Bandwidth alone is cheaper, other things are costly.
EDIT: Its on 12 months commit, in LA area.

Generally you'll get it cheaper with a broker or a reseller instaed of direct.
Try giglinx, bandcon, revelation networks, etc

Reseller will already have large bandwidth commits as they provider service to multiple users under them. If you want cheaper bandwidth, its better to go via a reseller.

definitely better to go the reseller route because they have larger aggregate commits with multiple providers... but it also adds another layer to the whole process. support, install etc..
