It sucks getting older, another crappy birthday, at least it gives me a excuse to pig out on cake and get drunk, happy 23rd to myself I guess.

fyi, just thought i should mention that i've had the same opinion bout birthdays since my 21st (which was the last good one/one to look fwd to). now we just get older/are going to die sooner/are more outdated.

If you'll accept advice from a stranger, what you write here doesn't make you sound very happy. You might want to try something else to celebrate, something that involves helping others - that's the best way I know to feel good when you're feeling low.
However you choose to celebrate, here's hoping that it makes you happy and feeling good about the opportunity to do worthwhile things in the year ahead.
