Hello WHT!
I need to ask about hudsonvalleyhost.com
I ordered the Website Promotion package, all was good support/order was fast.. so far so good
So the next day they say the campaign has been added and begun. Great!!!
So wait wait wait...... nothing has changed..... So i decided to ask them to cancel the account and give a refund because i did not get any hit's or whatever you want to call it. and i have yet to hear back nothing about me after they say our campaign has begun???
What should i do? Wait it out? Go to paypal and get the refund that away?
Thanks for any info on this.
Mike.

don't say anything about it in the tos.. If they don't say anything about in the TOS, it means refunds must be available? I don't think it necessarily works that way. There may be some consumer protection law that could regulate that, and you may be in luck.
So wait wait wait..... How long did you wait exactly? How much traffic did you order?
Apparently, they let customers know it can take 90 days to receive the traffic you ordered:
Once started, visitors will come to your site. As these are genuine visitors, some days you may get 40,000 or more hits, whilst other days you get only a few. However, we guarantee that you will get the number of hits promised within 30-90 days.

please learn a lesson from this: traffic cannot be pushed or promised, you actually have to offer something interesting and your visitors will show up. These type of practices usually kill your google ranking, instead of helping it.

This is just another lesson that ... buyer should always beware! Know how you're ordering from, ask questions up-front (including those regarding refunds). Find out what you need to know before handing over any money.

Hello,
Thanks for all the feedback.. I gone to paypal about it and they didnt refund! So i'm out the $14 bucks! I am still waiting for the support to reply with a userid to check the status of the order.. after i asked for a refund they have closed tickets and give me no help.. This is why i will never go with hudsonvalleyhost!
Thanks,
Mike.
