Lately Windows 2000, as I have been doing web/graphic design almost constantly.

    Otherwise, Slackware Linux.

I'm using Windows ME, it's slightly un-reliable, but it doesn't give me that many problems. My personal choice would be Windows 98 SE, but some of the hardware I have doesn't work with that, and I'm too lazy (or busy with other work) to bother looking for the appropiate drivers from the manufacturers site.

Going off topic for a while - how long has your "windows" system (if you use windows) lasted for? Mine hasn't been reinstalled since the day I built it and installed the OS on it - which is now close to a year.

Windows XP Pro on my laptop (main PC) which has been installed since I got a new laptop in June (it isn't an OEM install) - the OEM install of XP Pro that came with it was removed immediately as OEM installs are extremely buggy.

My preference before that is 2000, NT4 and then 95 (in the Windows range).

I find Windows 98 to be the slowest and most bug infested of the whole lot.

The machine I'm on now is a Windows 2000 machine (at the University).

XP Pro, will switch back to 2000 when I reformat some time. OS X 10.2 on my iBook owns Windows, though.

    Windows 2000 Pro.

I got sick of having Win98 crash every 10 minutes so I upgraded to Win2k and couldn't be happier.

Win 2k. It doesn't give me problems so I don't throw it out and try something new.
